Home of the Harlequins
We’ve been home to the iconic Harlequins rugby club since 1963 and are named after one of Harlequins’ most famous players, Adrian Stoop. Initially based in a larger facility at Twickenham Stadium, Harlequins acquired 14 acres of land close by in 1963 and first named it the Stoop Memorial Ground.
This training ground and stadium would later be named Twickenham Stoop in 2005 and go on to become a leading stadium in world rugby.
